In July 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Taking Of Christ by Juan Correa de Vivar. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 115,250.00 (€ 138,575.14), 65% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Juan Correa de Vivar; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Christ On The Road To Calvary sold at auction in December 2008 with the realized price of GBP 193,250.00 (€ 202,968.73).

Im Juli 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Taking Of Christ von Juan Correa de Vivar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 115.250,00 (€ 138.575,14) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Juan Correa de Vivar; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Christ On The Road To Calvary im Dezember 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 193.250,00 (€ 202.968,73).
