Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tauromaquia by Juan Barjola was auctioned at Christies in Madrid in October 2008. The price achieved of EUR 37,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Barjola - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tauromaquia, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 84,000.00.

Die Arbeit Tauromaquia von Juan Barjola kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in Madrid zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 37.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Barjola mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tauromaquia beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 84.000,00 versteigert wurde.
