Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Taichi Series by Ju Ming. The price achieved of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 251,353.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,400,000.00 – 2,400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ju Ming have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Taichi Series - Single Whip in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 20,820,000.00 (€ 1,922,718.86).
