In December last year Artcurial held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary Online, which included the work JR au Palais de Tokyo, 28 Août 2020, 16H12, Paris - 2021 by JR. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,230.00 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by JR achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 28 Millimètres, Women Are Heroes, Delivery In Monrovia On Corrugated Metal, Liberia 2007 - 2009 in February 2020 with an auction result of EUR 101,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit JR au Palais de Tokyo, 28 Août 2020, 16H12, Paris - 2021 von JR zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.230,00 und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von JR erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 28 Millimètres, Women Are Heroes, Delivery In Monrovia On Corrugated Metal, Liberia 2007 - 2009 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 101.400,00.
