Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 47,232.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by JR - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 28 Millimètres, Women Are Heroes, Delivery In Monrovia On Corrugated Metal, Liberia 2007 - 2009, which sold at auction in February 2020 for EUR 101,400.00.

Die Arbeit JR at the Louvre, La Pyramide - 2016 von JR kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 47.232,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
