Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 42,436.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by József Rippl-Rónai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Figures, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 145,000.00 (€ 98,720.04).
