Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joyce Wahl Treiman could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Study for Big Lautrec Heads and Symbols changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 406.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joyce Wahl Treiman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Facade, which sold at auction in January 2007 for USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,569.47).
