Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction INTERSECT: Online Auction, which included the work WE ALL MAKE THE FLOWERS GROW III (Black) by Josh Sperling. It changed hands for a price of HKD 7,560.00 (€ 983.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josh Sperling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Team Player in May 2020 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 107,001.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit WE ALL MAKE THE FLOWERS GROW III (Black) von Josh Sperling zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 7.560,00 (€ 983,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josh Sperling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Team Player im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 107.001,26).
