Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Daniel Bouette by Joseph Vivien was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,286.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Vivien have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait De L'Abbé Ambroise Lalouette (1653-1724), Aumônier De Louis Xiv, Chanoine De L'Église Sainte Oppportune in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 104,000.00.
