In December this year Artcurial held the auction A Moroccan Winter, which included the work Sans titre (sous bois) - 2010 by Joseph Ntensibe. The »bidding war« ended at MAD 157,440.00 (€ 14,403.30), 75% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Joseph Ntensibe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rejuvenation in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 81,500.00 (€ 95,741.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion A Moroccan Winter durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre (sous bois) - 2010 von Joseph Ntensibe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von MAD 157.440,00 (€ 14.403,30) und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Ntensibe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rejuvenation im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.500,00 (€ 95.741,51).
