Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Joseph Lacasse was sold in the The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2011. The price achieved of EUR 3,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Lacasse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Komposition (Rouge et noir) in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joseph Lacasse wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Lacasse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Komposition (Rouge et noir) im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.080,00.
