Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition Abstraite, 1940 by Joseph Lacasse was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,295.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Lacasse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Komposition (Rouge et noir) in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 21,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition Abstraite, 1940 von Joseph Lacasse wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.295,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Lacasse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Komposition (Rouge et noir) im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 21.080,00.
