This artwork by Joseph Farquharson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2020. In the The Scottish Sale auction, the work Delphiniums sold for GBP 5,062.50 (€ 5,621.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Farquharson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When The West With Evening Glows in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 232,000.00 (€ 344,998.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Farquharson erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Scottish Sale wurde die Arbeit Delphiniums für GBP 5.062,50 (€ 5.621,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Farquharson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit When The West With Evening Glows im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 232.000,00 (€ 344.998,67).
