This artwork by Joseph Bernard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2001. In the NINETEENTH CENTURY ART auction, the work Le rêve du peintre sold for EUR 16,450.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Bernard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jeune Danseuse Ou Jeune Fille À La Draperie, which sold at auction in July 2007 for EUR 48,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Bernard erzielte im Oktober 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY ART wurde die Arbeit Le rêve du peintre für EUR 16.450,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Bernard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jeune Danseuse Ou Jeune Fille À La Draperie beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für EUR 48.000,00 versteigert wurde.
