In the All That Is Glorious Around Us: Property from an Important American Collector auction, the work Landscape With Stream sold for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,915.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Antonio Hekking - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Landscape With River, which sold at auction in March 2005 for USD 9,000.00 (€ 6,939.63).
