Despite a disappointment, a good price for Josep Uclés
In January 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Nido di pesce by Josep Uclés for GBP 180.00 (€ 271.58). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Nido di pesce is the most expensive artwork by Josep Uclés that we have observed at auction so far.
