Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 892.50 (€ 997.00). Admittedly, works by Josef Lorenzl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Female Nude With Three Dogs, Circa 1930 in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,409.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dancing Woman, Circa 1930 von Josef Lorenzl wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Decorative Arts and Contemporary Ceramics including Vintage Posters bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 892,50 (€ 997,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josef Lorenzl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Female Nude With Three Dogs, Circa 1930 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.409,30).
