Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction Portrait Miniatures & Objects of Vertu, which included the work Francis II (1768-1835), Holy Roman Emperor and Emperor of Austria as Francis I, in green coat, wearing the jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece, and the breast-stars of the Imperial Austrian Orders of Maria Theresa and of Leopold and of the Royal Hunga by Joseph Kreutzinger. The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 706.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Kreutzinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait de la Famille Impériale D'Autriche in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 66,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Portrait Miniatures & Objects of Vertu durch, in der auch die Arbeit Francis II (1768-1835), Holy Roman Emperor and Emperor of Austria as Francis I, in green coat, wearing the jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece, and the breast-stars of the Imperial Austrian Orders of Maria Theresa and of Leopold and of the Royal Hunga von Joseph Kreutzinger zur Versteigerung kam.
