Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sledging through the snow by Josef Konarsky was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2005. The price achieved of EUR 4,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Josef Konarsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pferdekutschen an einem Winterabend., which sold at auction in November last year for EUR 14,520.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sledging through the snow von Josef Konarsky wurde im September 2005 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Josef Konarsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pferdekutschen an einem Winterabend. beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für EUR 14.520,00 versteigert wurde.
