Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work Spanishthe Snake Charmer by José Tapiró. The price achieved of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,298.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by José Tapiró have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Spanish The Presentation was auctioned for GBP 82,100.00 (€ 104,434.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanishthe Snake Charmer von José Tapiró zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.298,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von José Tapiró konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Spanish The Presentation für GBP 82.100,00 (€ 104.434,79) versteigert.
