In June 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Land, Sea, Sky: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by José María Sicilia. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,636.61), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José María Sicilia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fleur Blanc in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 117,913.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Land, Sea, Sky: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von José María Sicilia zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.636,61) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José María Sicilia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fleur Blanc im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 117.913,83).
