The work Sans Titre - 1989 by José María Sicilia was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 2,099.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José María Sicilia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fleur Blanc in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 117,913.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1989 von José María Sicilia wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.099,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José María Sicilia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fleur Blanc im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 117.913,83).
