Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Luz Que Se Apaga by José María Sicilia was sold in the Land, Sea, Sky: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,143.24). Admittedly, works by José María Sicilia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fleur Blanc in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 117,913.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Luz Que Se Apaga von José María Sicilia wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Land, Sea, Sky: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.143,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José María Sicilia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fleur Blanc im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 117.913,83).
