Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in Madrid held the auction Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel, which included the work Sin Tíitulo by José Manuel Broto. The price achieved of EUR 16,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Manuel Broto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work B, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin Tíitulo von José Manuel Broto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 16.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von José Manuel Broto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit B beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
