Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jordy Kerwick was auctioned at Phillips in 7 - in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 33,020.00 (€ 3,983.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordy Kerwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chic Imagery in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 254,301.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordy Kerwick kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 33.020,00 (€ 3.983,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordy Kerwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chic Imagery im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 254.301,37).
