Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Joost Cornelis Droochsloot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April last year. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Interior with merry peasants around a table sold for GBP 17,640.00 (€ 21,035.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joost Cornelis Droochsloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Princes Of Orange Leaving The Buitenhof And Passing The Western Side Of The Hofvijver In The Hague. in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 242,500.00 (€ 291,689.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joost Cornelis Droochsloot erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Interior with merry peasants around a table für GBP 17.640,00 (€ 21.035,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joost Cornelis Droochsloot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Princes Of Orange Leaving The Buitenhof And Passing The Western Side Of The Hofvijver In The Hague. im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 242.500,00 (€ 291.689,89).
