Sold at the upper estimate price
In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Paintings & Sculpture, which included the work A village with peasants and a feud in the foreground; and A village with peasants merrymaking outside a tavern by Joost Cornelis Droochsloot. The auction ended at the price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,308.48), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joost Cornelis Droochsloot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Princes Of Orange Leaving The Buitenhof And Passing The Western Side Of The Hofvijver In The Hague. in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 242,500.00 (€ 291,689.89).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Paintings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit A village with peasants and a feud in the foreground; and A village with peasants merrymaking outside a tavern von Joost Cornelis Droochsloot zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.308,48) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joost Cornelis Droochsloot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Princes Of Orange Leaving The Buitenhof And Passing The Western Side Of The Hofvijver In The Hague. im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 242.500,00 (€ 291.689,89).
