This artwork by Jonathan Lasker achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in October 2021. In the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Extension sold for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,137.34) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jonathan Lasker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Discontinuous Self in July last year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 135,855.71).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jonathan Lasker erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Extension für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.137,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Lasker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Discontinuous Self im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 135.855,71).
