In December 2014 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Somali Woman With Goat by Jonathan Kenworthy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,068.73), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Kenworthy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Somali Girl at Wajir, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 26,250.00 (€ 31,438.08).

Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Somali Woman With Goat von Jonathan Kenworthy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.068,73) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Kenworthy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Somali Girl at Wajir beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für GBP 26.250,00 (€ 31.438,08) versteigert wurde.
