The work British Two Chapandaz And A Mongol Head With Two Riders Fighting For A Carcass (A Pair) by Jonathan Kenworthy was sold in the Sporting Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,680.69). Admittedly, works by Jonathan Kenworthy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Somali Girl at Wajir in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 31,438.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit British Two Chapandaz And A Mongol Head With Two Riders Fighting For A Carcass (A Pair) von Jonathan Kenworthy wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Sporting Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.680,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jonathan Kenworthy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Somali Girl at Wajir im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.250,00 (€ 31.438,08).
