Despite a disappointment, a good price for Jonathan Hernández
This work of art by Jonathan Hernández could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Mexico Contemporary auction, the work Rongwrong Xxv changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,054.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Rongwrong Xxv is the most expensive artwork by Jonathan Hernández that we have observed at auction so far.
