Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Verso i gasometri by Jonathan Guaitamacchi. The price achieved of EUR 700.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Guaitamacchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Metropoli - Orizzonte in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 17,360.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Verso i gasometri von Jonathan Guaitamacchi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 700,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Guaitamacchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Metropoli - Orizzonte im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.360,00.
