Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Grace Is Found Between The Saddle And The Ground by Jonathan Ching. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 4,848.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Jonathan Ching have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Another Sunday Morning was auctioned for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 8,677.24).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 4.848,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
