Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Komposition med sfinx by Jonas Åkerström was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 629.24). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonas Åkerström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mythological scene, which sold at auction in December 2011 for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 2,241.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Komposition med sfinx von Jonas Åkerström im Juni 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 629,24) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonas Åkerström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mythological scene beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 2.241,58) versteigert wurde.
