Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Ann Brockman by Jon Corbino was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,433.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jon Corbino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rockport in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,812.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Ann Brockman von Jon Corbino kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.462,50 (€ 4.433,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jon Corbino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rockport im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.812,61).
