In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs, which included the work Ready, willing and able by John Trickett. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,009.99), 70% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Ready, willing and able the most expensive artwork by John Trickett that we have observed at auctions so far.
