This artwork by John Sennhauser achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2007. In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Improvisation sold for USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,582.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Sennhauser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Architectural Painting No. 1 - Green Circle, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 80,000.00 (€ 67,722.00).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John Sennhauser erzielte im September 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Improvisation für USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.582,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von John Sennhauser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Architectural Painting No. 1 - Green Circle beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 80.000,00 (€ 67.722,00) versteigert wurde.
