Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Piccarda by John Riley Wilmer for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,960.90). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by John Riley Wilmer have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2018 by the work Piccarda at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,015.25).

Im Dezember 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Piccarda von John Riley Wilmer für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.960,90) erwerben.
