Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures in a desert landscape by John Ralph was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September last year. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 725.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Ralph achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The ballet dancer and the pierrots in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,361.17).

Die Arbeit Figures in a desert landscape von John Ralph kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 725,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Ralph erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The ballet dancer and the pierrots im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.361,17).
