Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Piper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract Painting, 1935 in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 362,500.00 (€ 516,327.40).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.880,00 (€ 3.061,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Piper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract Painting, 1935 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 362.500,00 (€ 516.327,40).
