Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 525.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Noble Barlow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape with trees, cattle grazing beyond, which sold at auction in December 2012 for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,695.76).
