Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by John Kørner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November last year. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work Birds in the Yellow Gallery sold for EUR 13,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by John Kørner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Bird Man sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von John Kørner erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit Birds in the Yellow Gallery für EUR 13.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von John Kørner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Bird Man im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.941,04).
