A top price for John Ivar Berg - as previously expected
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Spiralkomposition" by John Ivar Berg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,486.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Spiralkomposition" is the most expensive artwork by John Ivar Berg that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Spiralkomposition" von John Ivar Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.486,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Spiralkomposition" das teuerste Kunstwerk von John Ivar Berg, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
