Auction result fails to reach estimate
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Nordiske malerier II” (Nordic paintings II) by John Hansen for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.24). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by John Hansen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May this year by the work “Les Pradals I”, 2012 at DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Nordiske malerier II” (Nordic paintings II) von John Hansen für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von John Hansen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres die Arbeit “Les Pradals I”, 2012 mit DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,44).
