In the Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures including Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Over wall! Mendip sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,377.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by John Gregory King; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cheltenham sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,546.49).
