In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work An English And A Gordon Setter With The Day'S Bag On A Moor by John Gifford. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Gifford - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Day's Bag, which sold at auction in January 2002 for USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,016.99).
