A top price for John Firth-Smith - as previously expected
The work Sounds by John Firth-Smith was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The price achieved of AUD 59,750.00 (€ 35,938.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sounds is the most expensive artwork by John Firth-Smith that we have observed at auctions so far.
