Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Currin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nice 'n Easy in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 12,007,500.00 (€ 11,351,389.68).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.190,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Currin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nice 'n Easy im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.007.500,00 (€ 11.351.389,68).
