However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Chessell Buckler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Blenheim Park, Oxfordshire, which sold at auction in October 2001 for GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,804.02).
