Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with poppy anemones in a patterned jug by Johannes Wilhjelm for DKK 1,600.00 (€ 214.51). This price was achieved in the auction {} at Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Wilhjelm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On Skagen Beach in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 11,352.50 (€ 16,314.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with poppy anemones in a patterned jug von Johannes Wilhjelm für DKK 1.600,00 (€ 214,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion {} bei Bruun Rasmussen in Paintings, furniture and varia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Wilhjelm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On Skagen Beach im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.352,50 (€ 16.314,16).
